I- GIỚI THIỆU

Speaking part 01 là phần thi đầu tiên trong kì thi nói, và thí sinh phải trả lời ngay những câu hỏi thuộc các chủ đề liên quan. Tuy nhiên, không phải ai cũng có thể làm được điều đó vì thỉnh thoảng chúng ta sẽ có thể bị rối khi giám khảo hỏi liên tục, và đặc biệt là nếu gặp phải những câu hỏi hóc búa. Do vậy, hãy cùng The Menglish home phá bỏ rào cản đó nhé!

II- HƯỚNG DẪN

Cách thứ nhất để mở rộng ý tưởng cho câu trả lời của mình đó chính là hãy tận dụng các từ để hỏi mà chúng ta đã vô cùng quen thuộc: WH questions ( What, where, why, when, who, how).

Cùng nhau ví dụ nhé:

Do you like going shopping?

Nếu không áp dụng WH, câu trả lời của bạn có thể là:

“Absolutely yes, I’m really into going shopping because I want to buy something new for my collection.”

Tuy nhiên, nếu chúng ta tự đặt ra những câu hỏi cho bản thân và tự trả lời chúng, thì câu trả lời của mình có thể được mở rộng và chi tiết hơn đấy.

Ví dụ:

What – Bạn hay mua cái gì? – Clothes
Where – Bạn mua ở đâu? – Van Hanh Mall
Why – Tại sao bạn mua chúng/ tại sao bạn lại hay đi shopping? – Relax
When – Bạn thường đi khi nào? – At the weekend
Who – Bạn thường đi với ai? – my mom

Do you like going shopping?

“Absolutely yes, I really like going clothes shopping. In fact, I usually go to Van Hanh Mall near my house with my mom at the weekend to buy clothes because I want to relax.”

Version xịn xò hơn nè:

“Needless to say, I’m an avid fan of going clothes shopping. In actual fact, I have the habit of hitting the mall that is within walking distance from my house to buy clothes with my mom or just go window-shopping as a stress-relieving therapy after a hard week at work”

Is shopping a popular activity in your country?

It goes without saying that buying things has gained in popularity among not only young generations but also people of all ages in Vietnam. [WH questions] As long as it’s not their workday, people would go on a spending spree at the mall to purchase their favorite items with their relatives or friends. I think the main reason for this is that they wanna keep up with the latest trend or just simply blow off some steams.
